Note géographique et géologique
La commune accueille la confluence de la Grande Leyre et de la Petite Leyre. Cette dernière, longue de 50km, prend sa source à Luxey et termine sa course au "Hourc d'Eyre".
Note historique
Le village présente une particularité: deux églises construites côte à côte. La construction de l'église Notre-Dame-de-Moustey s'est terminée au XVième siècle et servait de chapelle à l' hôpital des pélerins. Celle de l'église Saint-Martin-de-Moustey s'est achevée à la même époque. Elles étaient alors dans un même cimetière.

The village has a particularity: two churches built side by side. The construction of the Notre-Dame-de-Moustey church was completed in the 15th century and served as a chapel for the pilgrims' hospital. The Saint-Martin-de-Moustey church was completed at the same time. They were then in the same cemetery.
