Tour of the Appalachian Trail ( Appalachian Trail ), passing through the state of Virginia (United States), from south to north.
The stage corresponds to sections 5 and 4.2, according to the official distribution of sections of the Appalachian Trail, in the state of Virginia, and runs almost all of it through a green corridor adjacent to a large forest area owned by the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute , and inside the magnificent G. Richard Thomson Wildlife Management Area.
