720 - La Passeggiata di Parmenide (Ceraso)

Questo percorso attraversa i borghi di Ceraso, Massascusa e San Biase accomunati da un unico denominatore: il fiume Palistro che li attraversa.
Il percorso parte dalla località “Vreccia” lungo una strada storica particolarmente panoramica che la congiunge con Velia. È nominata anche “La Passeggiata di Parmenide “, il filosofo più importante della scuola eleatica e grande legislatore che nacque e visse ad Elea (Velia) tra il 510 e il 435 a.C.
Giunti a Ceraso troviamo una perla naturalistica al centro del Borgo, un giardino urbano dedicato al medico Pietro Ebner storico e profondo conoscitore della cultura locale, da cui prende il nome. Il giardino si articola lungo il Palistro con sedute e passeggiate costeggia piccole cascate e percorsi di rigogliosa vegetazione. Seguendo la strada provinciale Massascusa e San Biase e attraversando il Palistro in diversi punti, si giunge al termine del percorso. Nei borghi è possibile fare passeggiate nella natura rigogliosa lungo il fiume.
Percorso facile da seguire e da individuare non segnalato.

This route passes through the villages of Ceraso, Massascusa and San Biase united by a single denominator: the Palistro River that flows through them.
The route starts from the locality "Vreccia" along a particularly scenic historic road that connects it with Velia. It is also named "The Walk of Parmenides, " the most important philosopher of the Eleatic school and a great legislator who was born and lived in Elea (Velia) between 510 and 435 BC.
Upon reaching Ceraso we find a naturalistic gem in the center of the Borgo, an urban garden dedicated to physician Pietro Ebner, a historian and profound connoisseur of local culture, after whom it is named. The garden is laid out along the Palistro with seating and walks past small waterfalls and paths of lush vegetation. Follow the Massascusa and San Biase provincial road and cross the Palistro at several points to reach the end of the trail. In the villages it is possible to take lush nature walks along the river.
