Itinerary description
A nice walk to discover the valley of 7 springs and the wider area. We started from the small but beautiful path, next to the main road, which ends at this habitat. Arriving at the point where the restaurant is, you can admire the various points that gush these natural springs. Near the slope of the opposite mountain begins a marked path which leads to various small rivers that form small and sometimes larger waterfalls. A little attention in some places due to the fall of large trees and the steep slope. After wandering through the forest and small rivers, we returned to the point of 7 springs and headed to the point where the tunnel ends and leads to a dam from the era of Italian occupation forming a beautiful artificial waterfall. Then we took the road to the village of Archangelos. Walking in a dirt road mainly and in some parts asphalt road, and with the landscapes alternating either in forests, or in fields with olive trees, or the landscape becoming wilder, we made a circular path which led us back to the starting point.

On dd. 05/10/2022, we walked this loop trail. Though, we skipped the part to the waterfalls (lacking the necessary hiking experience for this). But certainly a pleasant experience overall with no unpleasant surprises. Info and GPX track from this author greatly assisted us with this. This trail is definitely recommended to discover and enjoy the beauty of the island of Rhodes.
