Tour of the Appalachian Trail (Appalachian Trail), passing through the state of Virginia (United States), from south to north. From the AT parking lot located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, at the place known as Punchbowl Mountain, to the intersection of the trail with US-60, on Long Mountain Wayside.
The stage runs entirely inside the George Washington Jefferson National Forest, and corresponds to section number 20, according to the official distribution of sections of the Appalachian Trail, in the state of Virginia.
