Itinerary description
In the village center, in the main road Via Roma, a typical alley setting off opposite to the pharmacy leads uphill among ligurian style houses.
After passing by the Park's ticket checkpoint a stone stairway leads uphill to a dirt track, sometimes uneven, provided in some stretches with a wooden pedestrian parapet. Anyway, hikers should be extremely careful where the path is narrower, as it must be walked one way. The trail goes through Mediterranean scrub and overlooks the sea, offering some panoramic sights. After passing by the Park's checkpoint at the end of the trail in Monterosso, a steep stairway climbs down to the village, ending near the town hall
