Itinerary description
ENG -----------------------------------------------------
4 days trekking through Baliem Valley - West Papua. Visiting and sleeping in villages Dani and Lani. Really amazing landscapes and lovely people.
Route filled with breathtaking scenery dotted with Dani villages who invite you to spend at home. Some difficulty trails that give a plus trekking, suspension bridges, waterfalls ...
Quite an experience to learn how Dani people live. Very hospitable people that want to know about you. It is still possible to find older people who wear traditional like 50 years ago.
If you are regular in the mountains, you can perfectly route on your own without a guide. Just bring a carrier for every two people. We contacted two students through the hotel reception Pilamo: Yosafat Itlay (+62 852-4427-4146) and Eranus Wanimbo (100005315749136[at]facebook.com), they speak English and know the area.
Joined us to bring us food, tents and water along with two of his friends who spoke the local language, a total of four to six passengers.
There is water everywhere you can boil (you smoke flavor, but good) and it is not a bad idea to take tablets / drops purification.
During the trek, you can sleep in cottages, schools or any former home missionary. Recommended bringing a warm sleeping bag and tent for your privacy. The nights are cold.
Be careful with false guides at airport and around.
CAT -----------------------------------------------------

Me gustaría hacerte algunas preguntas a ver si me puedes orientar...
can i use your photo? (no face, only landscape)
