Saint-Julien-en-Born est le village le plus méridional du pays de Born, petit pays côtier du Nord des Landes de lettes (dépression entre deux dunes littorales) et de crastes (fossé d'écoulement des eaux bordant les parcelles forestières).
Note historique
Le Born est placé sur la voie romaine littorale entre Burdigala (Bordeaux) et Aquae Tarbellicae (Dax). Segosa, site archéologique sur la commune de Saint-Paul-en-Born, est répertorié dans L' itinéraire d'Antonin, le Guide du Routard romain.

Faune: merle noir, pie bavarde, poule, cheval, poney, rouge gorge familier, lézard des murailles, geai des chênes

Saint-Julien-en-Born is the southernmost village of the country of Born, a small coastal country north of the Landes, with its lettes (depression between two coastal dunes) and crastes (water flow ditch bordering the forest plots).
Historical notes
The Born country is located on the coastal Roman road between Burdigala (Bordeaux) and Aquae Tarbellicae (Dax). Segosa, an archaeological site in the town of Saint-Paul-en-Born, is listed in Antonin's Itinerary, the roman Lonely Planet Guide.
