Itinerary description
Il percorso parte in località “Piano di S. Maria” ricadente nel territorio comunale di Castelcivita, il punto di partenza è raggiungibile in macchina e un piccolo slargo consente la sosta delle autovetture.
Il percorso nei primi chilometri, facilmente percorribili, si sviluppa lungo una strada sterrata al disotto della copertura boschiva; qui la camminata risulta essere particolarmente piacevole e non eccessivamente impegnativa.
Dopo circa 4 chilometri il sentiero inizia a svilupparsi in salita, in alcuni tratti anche abbastanza impegnativa, fino ad arrivare sulla vetta dei monti Alburni.
Il percorso in esame non presenta particolari punti d’interesse ma rientra comunque tra quei tracciati che consentono, a un escursionista di medio livello, di eseguire una piacevole passeggiata immersi nella natura.
Percorso facile da seguire, individuare e ben segnalato.

The route starts in the locality “Piano di S. Maria” in the municipal area of Castelcivita, the starting point can be reached by car and a small clearing allows cars to park.
In the first kilometres, the route is easily practicable and develops along a dirt road beneath the forest cover; here the walk is particularly pleasant and not excessively demanding.
After about 4 kilometers the path begins to go uphill, quite challenging in some sections, until it reaches the summit of the Alburni mountains.
The route in question does not have any particular points of interest but is still among those routes that allow a medium-level hiker to take a pleasant walk immersed in nature.
