Itinerary description
fahai temple, longquan temple and shuangquan temple.
route:
happy forest - tea house - tiger's head hills - fahai temple - longquan temple - black stone village- shuangquan temple - nanmachang reservior- guajia tower - fragrant hills subway station
i tried some different trails today, and fortunately, i've found another new trail. they have added varieties to the journey, although somewhat challenging, made it exciting.
there are many trails in the mountains and hills, just hidden by thick grass and greens, esp. in summer. when you are staying curious and carefully looking for them, they are maybe just a yards away. simply don't give up easily sometimes, keep probing, and you'll find it possible most of the time.
there are normally two obvious hints. one is a sign by the road, no matter what it says, it means there might be a trail behind it.
the other one is man-piled branches at the entrance to the trails. if there's only one thick branch, it's normally done by another hiker, indicating the wrong way.
while if there are a big pile, esp with stingy branches, it's made by a villager, a farmer or an administrator, who doesn't want you to go. you may simply go ahead if you are pretty sure that there's a trail behind, since they belong to the nation, not a private person. this is one of the biggest differences between here and western countries. land and natural resources are the properties of the nation.
so it's part of the fun to discover hidden trails and enjoy the real nature. go and enjoy the fun part.
