Note géographique et géologique
Situé dans le Périgord Vert et à proximité du Parc Naturel Régional Périgord-Limousin, le village est traversé par la Côle, un affluent majeur de la Dronne.
Note historique
Perché sur une falaise, le château de Bruzac, en ruines, est formé par un ensemble de deux châteaux des XIIème et XVième siècle. Il est inscrit aux monuments historiques depuis 1948.

Flore: ronce commune, fougère aigle, fragon faux houx, prunellier, pommier sauvage, pin maritime, pin sylvestre, châtaignier, scolopendre, cirse des champs
Faune: chevaux, brebis, lapin, cuivré commun

Standing on a cliff, the ruins of the Bruzac castle are formed by a set of two 12th and 15th century castles. It has been listed as a historical monument since 1948.

Dommage que l’entrave n’est pas entretenu par endroit il faut un peu deviner le chemin mais sinon TOP !! A refaire avec la grande boucle de +5 kms
