Note géographique et géologique
Le Midou est une rivière qui prend sa source en Armagnac. Elle est rejoint par l'Izaute à Monlezun d'Armagnac.
Note historique
Dans le pays d'Armagnac, l'agriculture vivrière cède sa place dès la deuxième partie du XXième à une agriculture productiviste qui modifie les paysages où la vigne est remplacée par la culture du maïs, du colza et du tournesol.
A visiter: musée du paysan Gascon

Flore: ronce commune, chêne pédonculé, charme commun, prunellier, frêne, châtaignier, fragon faux-houx, pissenlit, fougère aigle, marguerite, iris des marais, géranium herbe à Robert, églantier des chiens, ortie, aulne glutineux, renoncule rampante
Faune: chevreuil, corneille noire, grande loche, Caloptéryx occitan

In the country of Armagnac, subsistence farming gave way from the second part of the 20th century to productivist agriculture which modified the landscapes where the vines were replaced by the cultivation of corn, rapeseed and sunflowers.

Sentier hélas partiellement ombragé à cause des coupes d'arbres .
Cependant le chant des oiseaux y est très présent !
