Itinerary description
I wanted to go to Estancia Ventisquero and cross to O’Higgins Glacier Viewpoint the next day.
However, after 25 minutes walking on the Peninsula trail I was being forced to cross a river 15m wide and 40-50cm deep...
Noone had told me about it (Carabineros nor local guide... So I wondered was else might be ahead... I did not feel like wandering into the unknown for 3 days, alone, raining, and with temperatures around 10ºC at midday)
Change of plans, back to main road and to Lago del Desierto, an easy but long trail.
