The first 8 km approx. they are rising At first the climb is strong. You have to climb a hill, starting in the very center of the city, along a zigzag path. The climb is hard. When you reach a viewpoint, when it seems that the climb has finished, there is a continuous up and down. Either you go up or down, but you never walk on the level. Finally, you end up leaving the forest and the rest of the stage to Hronsek becomes more bearable, now in a continuous but discreet descent.
In Hronske, I visited the Stave Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and then went to the train station to go to Sliac, which is where I had booked accommodation.
