Eleventh Stage Annapurna Circuit (and last, from here the Khopra Rige begins).
Long stage, but apparently simple. My initial intention was to reach Kopchepani (about 2 hours from Ghasa) but I ended up in Ghasa.
The initial views to the east and west are unique. The Dhaulagiri, the Nilgiri, dozens of snow-capped peaks and the stupendous bridge to access Kokhethanti, made the first two hours of the day go by without blinking an eye.
From there begins an uphill, with some extraordinary landscapes on the western slope of the ANNAPURNAS (IY SUR), the Titi Tal (and the town of the same name, which although it does not appear on the map, has several OPEN guest houses with spectacular views over the Annapurnas).
From there begins a descent of more than 1,500 m, smooth in some sections and hard in others, but always enjoyable and with magnificent views, either over the mountain or the Kali Gandaki valley that would leave anyone speechless.
I had the problem to cross Ghasa, because although on the map (and on the track I had) it was possible to continue along the eastern slope of the river, the reality is that several landslides prevent it. In the attached map I try to explain it (and you just have to follow the track), before reaching Ghasa you have to cross a Tibetan bridge that does not appear on the map (WP 0135) completely cross Ghasa and DO NOT try to take the one that It appears as "old bridge" because you will get into another complicated Land slide (this is what happened to me).
Total, that after 6 and a half hours and the last comings and goings, I decided to return to Ghasa, stay there and be correctly indicated where to go. The solution to return to the eastern shore is to go through the "new bridge" (you will see it in the next installment). It is because of all these imbalances that I classify the stage as difficult.
In the following link (only links on the computer, not on the mobile app) you can find the complete route and, from there, link to each day:
