In my opinion, one of the most beautiful stages, if not the most beautiful, both for the landscapes that you go through, for the views of the Anapurnas II and IV and for the mystique of the numerous temples and Buddhist manifestations of the Kingdom of Pisang. Added to this is the fact that the previous afternoon and night it snowed a lot, with which the landscape was especially beautiful covered with a good white blanket.
The route is long, 26 km, which, together with the day before, wear and tear is noticeable; You are already entering respectable altitudes above 3,500 m and it has a couple of very considerable climbs, especially that of Ghyaru.
It is also noticeable in the temperature, in Manang we were already at 7 degrees below zero, fortunately the house had a good wood stove in the dining room that gave a warm atmosphere in the vicinity (there was nothing in the rooms).
In relation to water and where you can get it, along the entire route there are a large number of water sources so, at least during the month of March, you should not worry. The best option is to have a canteen with a filter, it allows you to replenish water anywhere in complete safety and have clean and fresh water immediately. The second (and cheaper) option is the purification sideburns, but it forces you to wait a while until the pill takes effect and you don't stop adding chemistry to the body.
