First route we do in Nepal. Yesterday we left Kathmandu to go to Bhaktapur by local bus. It's pretty simple, but it's a bit scary. You have to go to the Ratna Park stop and it is best to ask there, don't worry if you don't know English, they don't either, so just ask for the name of the town they will tell you which bus it is and they will ask you where you want to get off on your own If you say Bakthapur, Durban Square you already get it. It is the cheapest way to travel for only 50 rupees.
We started walking through Bakthapur and then through a fairly populated area, most of it walking, passing some rice and vegetable crops and above all what caught my attention are the clay manufactures to make bricks. Both of the people working and the chimneys to cook the mud.
Chagu Narayan is under restoration, although you can see the great beauty for which it has been declared a World Heritage Site and a UNESCO site.
From there, a path is followed for most of Rural, which crosses a divide to go to Nagarkot.
We passed a couple of crossroads marked with a Waypoint on the track and a very beautiful place, a Stupa, a Buddhist temple, where we stopped to have a totally clean, immaculate coffee and with a spectacular view over the Kathmandu valley.
From there we enter Nagarkot, which is a very scattered town in the mountains to reach the crossroads that is the center of the town and from there we go to the Hotel where we spend the night.
