As I have already commented, one can think that I have seen one temple and seen all of them, well, no habalr..... each temple is a world.
This temple of Philae is from the Tardans, from the late Empire era, already imbricated and influenced by Greek and Roman religious trends and dispositions. For this reason it is nevertheless better preserved than any other. It also has the peculiarity that it was the last one in which rites of the pharaonic religion were celebrated. It was and is dedicated to the goddess Isis of femininity and since the pharaonic religion continued to be practiced after the arrival of Christianity and Islam..... it is known that celebrations were held in this temple until the 7th century. Later it is known that no one practices this religion anymore except apparently some groups of alternative Europeans, who occasionally come to this temple.
It also has the added attraction of being on an island between the Asuan dam and the Aswan dam. Like those of Abu Simbel, it was moved from its initial place under water today.
