Itinerary description
Start in parking lot by baseball fields. Note, no bridges here, so be prepared to ford the river at start. Up Laureles, Vasquez, a bit of Saddle, then East Ridge, Garzas Canyon (steep down then up on these) and on to Snivley's. Finally, a long gentle down into Carmel Valley Ranch Resort. We skipped the there-and-back to Pinyon Peak. Great hike, with good views from the first ridge across to Snively's. Total about 17km (10.5 miles). Nice linear walk, but obviously needs two cars for different start and end.
