Itinerary description
Circular walk from Lysterfield Lake car park on trails and tracks.
After walking across the dam wall, head up Granite Hills Track then detour via Rock Garden Walk to eventually reach Quarry Track, which skirts a quarry to the west then turns east.
Descend to follow East-West Break, then turn right to follow Boys Farm Track and take the historic Boys Farm Heritage Walk. At the end of Boys Farm Track, turn left then right to follow Thompsons Track. At the end, turn right on Mahogany Track and follow this to the lake. Turn left on Lake Track and then right on Lake Circuit Trail back to the car park.
The walk has a lot of tree cover, so is quite nice on a hot day.
