Itinerary description
Another long day! Got hit with rain again from Phakding to Lukla, but the first half was quite nice. Easy downhill through Jorsale. Quite a traffic jam at places, with huge crowds heading up the trail towards Namche. Crossing a couple of long suspension bridges, we stop for lunch at Phakding. And the final climb towards Lukla in the rain! It was approaching 5pm - a customary photo at the final SPCC (Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committe) check post and the Pasang Lamu Gate, we enter rainy Lukla. Hoping to catch an early flight out tomorrow.
