Itinerary description
From their iron deposits, the Red Mountains (of San Juan Range) were a colorful group of mountains in southwestern Colorado. Red Mountain 3 is the highest of the three and arguably the most accessible. The entire trail to its summit was a gravel road. At its top, the most vibrant colors of Colorado await.
