Itinerary description
An iconic series of mountain in North Carolina next to Blue Ridge Parkway, with exposed rock faces and probably the best entry-level scrambling in the state. This recording started at Black Rock Parking Lot, and passed MacRae Peak on way to Calloway Peak. On its way back, it checked out the famous Mile-High Swinging Bridge and Linville Peak. The trail was overall well-maintained. Portions of the trail, especially along the way to MacRae Peak, were on ladders.
