Crossing in this beautiful third stage along the trekking route, which we are doing, in this stage through Albania and Montenegro, leaving from the town of Cerem and crossing the border with Montenegro briefly, to go to sleep in the tourist accommodation area of Doberdol .
Dog: It can be done with a dog without problem.
Water: There is one going up, next to a small drinks stand and we have two more going down, one of them at another drinks stand, in addition to numerous streams...
- ACCESS TO THE START POINT:
The route leaves from the town of Cerem in Albania, which we arrived the day before from Valbona. See the previous day's route below.

- ROUTE:
We start the route from the Guesthouse Afrimi accommodation near Cerem where we slept tonight.
We leave the accommodation and cross a small stream over a very simple wooden bridge, which seems about to break, as it is barely a plank, and we come out onto a track that we take in an upward direction, to the right.
A little further on we will pass by an old sawmill, where a sawmill machine that was driven entirely by water pressure is still preserved in a field and which remains practically intact. You only have to deviate about 50 meters to see it.
We will continue along an ascending track where we climb very gently, although this track is avoidable and we can climb more directly from where we started the route, along a path that climbs more directly, but we prefer to do it in a simpler and less demanding way.
We pass by a place where drinks are sold, where next to it there is a fountain where you can get water, although the water seems to be taken from the same stream that goes down a little higher with a tube.
We continue ascending along the track that climbs very gently and later we abandon it to continue along the path and along this path we reach the border with Montenegro of which only a few small material remains remain on the ground. From there we continue walking along a path that for a while is practically flat through a beautiful beech forest and also with some pine trees of extraordinary dimensions. Be careful that there may be bears in this area.
The path then begins a slight ascent until reaching approximately 1930 m.
This point is the border again with Albania and we see that a track passes through the same border.
We cross the track and continue along the path that we see in front of us and which almost immediately passes near a stall selling drinks which we do not approach, but know that it is very close, almost next to it and there is a fountain to get water . We go to a beautiful viewpoint of the entire valley, which is next to this drinks stand, with very beautiful views of the area.
We continue descending following the marks of two red stripes with another white one in the center and later we will pass another drinks stand where there is also a fountain where you can get water.
The route continues through a beech forest, although later we cross a small area of pine forest and also cross numerous meadows that we find completely covered with countless flowers.
We have to continue along the path for a good stretch, with small ups and downs until, near the end of the route, we will begin a climb that takes us to the hostel where we will sleep tonight and which is in a beautiful cattle valley and is newly built in Doberdol. Specifically, we slept at Guest House Bashkimi
