Itinerary description
Arguably the best hike in Haleakalā National Park, this trail took one through the crater basin of Haleakalā, covering diverse landscape from volcanic deposits to lush fields in such short distance. I highly recommend all those physically fit to try this out.
Since it's a one-way hike, it involved hitchhiking, which we didn't run into any difficulties.
