Itinerary description
It was possible to do this as a one-way walk by catching the train from Johnsonville to Crofton Downs (which only cost 50 cents!). It's a great walk, so close to the city, with views on one side over the city, bay and suburbs, and on the other side to pure rural countryside. We included a short side-trip to the high point of Mt Kaukau.
