Itinerary description
The Paekakariki Escarpment Track runs along the escarpment in the Kapiti Coast just north of Wellington. There are plenty of ups and downs, with over a thousand steps and a couple of long suspension bridges. It's not remote, but there are great views and plenty of interest.
