Itinerary description
The starting point in this recording does not offer public parking.
A popular trail in the Chisos Basin region of Big Bend National Park. An easy stroll from Chisos Basin into Oak Canyon to some interesting rock formations. After the trail forked off from another branch leading down to Ross Maxwell, the final 500m of trail is in a narrow slickrock canyon with pools and puddles. It involves getting up and down and around some rocks, which in my opinion was marginally technical (I would still rate that as YDS class 1). I wasn’t that impressed with views at the end, given the "Window" was pretty narrow.
