The Himalayan mid-mountain above Baijinath is still very wild and very beautiful. "Delighted Journey" our travel agency and Ketan Mehra our guide are from the area. It is therefore with them that we "opened" this trek: a first. A very virgin and strong new route close to the inhabitants of the region and the indigenous life.
We are on paths almost constantly, sometimes on all terrains, rarely on small roads. The changes of biotopes are welcome and pleasant. The Himalayan chain that we see throughout the course brings a certain cachet to the trek. We could have named this trek "Trisul or Trichuli" because it keeps you company every day.
Here, we are in the first day of hiking. We drove up to the ridge above Baijinath. We will very often be on a ridge with very beautiful views on both sides. Of course, the Himalayan chain says hello to us. Trails all day, a Hindu temple, a farm, views and we end in a very beautiful village where we stay with locals. Very nice.
A bedroom with English WC, private "bathroom" and double bed. Family and village life. The inhabitants of this village serve as porters for our luggage. This is the village of Ketan.
The locals say Tcha, Tchaa to say yes.
