Itinerary description
The origin of the name Falougha is Syriac and means "divide" symbolizing the two winter rivers that divide the village.
Our trail started from the Flag Hill – the sight where the current Lebanese flag was first hoisted - passing by the Sohat spring water and above the Sohat water bottling plant and continued on a dirt road above the cliffs and watched the sunrise.
Beautiful scenery (views of the man-made ponds, sleep towns of Mount Lebanon, Dahr El baydar, etc.), weather, and setting.
The only thing that bothered me was too many hunters.
