Itinerary description
We climbed Mt Razorback by the ridge just upstream from camp. At the top are great views, and sites for a few tents. We descended by the the ridge just downstream from camp. This route passes Coronet Hill, where multiple bands of rock need to be climbed through - but there's no real difficulty.
Then we headed downstream to the Camel Pool. There are two sections of gorge, both of which held water. Near the bottom is a tributary coming from the north. This is the creek that cuts through the range. A short way upstream is a big pool. On the southern side is a well-worn path across a minor saddle, which emerges just downstream of the Camel Pool, where we found plenty of usable water and lots of camping nearby.
