Itinerary description
A grueling day hike to the mountain that soared magnificently above the southern shore of Kink Arm, that concluded with YDS class 3 scrambling and towering views.
Trail was well marked with distance markers all the way till snow patch (maybe even more). Trail was overgrown at certain sections below tree line, had to navigate above and around a few fallen trees and branches. Below tree line there were also a few muddy spots, the worst of which was just after 10000ft distance mark, before the first picnic table, one that will definitely get dirty shoes. There were signs of maintenance and improvement along those muddy spots, but far from enough. The second picnic table was not long after the first, marking the tree line. Towards the end there were some class 3 scrambling sections, advice should be try to keep to the right(east) side of ridge after false summit. Overall, I think this one is about as hard as Matanuska Peak, not harder.
