Itinerary description
An excursion into nature after snow. The park road was closed to vehicles beyond picnic area, adding some distance to my hike. The trail had many forks in the woods, most of them still lead back to the trailhead but it’s easy to get lost without referring to maps and GPS. Gentle incline meant no specialty gear was needed even after snow.
