This isn't the Coast Path trail ... it goes way high ???
This route is marked throughout with the old "Cumbria Coastal Way" signs. Unfortunately, you can't walk closer to the coast on this section except by crossing private property or railway property. It's the furthest from the coast that I had to go during my coastal walk around Cumbria.
