ARRIVAL POINT:
Thini

ITIENERARY:
We had to improvise itinerary, since we wanted to see Thini's gompa and the manager was not there, so first we went to Thini and then while we waited we went to Dhumba, Dhumba Lake and the Dumba gumpas and then we returned to Thini.

DIFFICULTY:
The shortcuts we took made the terrain a bit more complicated and much more elevated.

WHY DO IT:
The Dhumba lake and the reflection of the mountains is beautiful, there are also good views of the Nilgiri and several Buddhist gumpas.

ALTERNATIVES:
Ideally, go to Thini, see the gumpas and continue without returning. We could have added the view to the Leopard cave and after Gompa continue up to Marpha avoiding the road.

SERVICES:
In Jomsom there are many services, including ATMs. In Thini there is at least one hotel and in Dhumba I think so too.
