2019-10-06 - Nepal - Circuito Annapurna - Bhraka a cueva Milarepa y glaciar Annapurna - ida y vuelta

POINT:
Bhraka

WHY DO IT:
It is a good acclimatization excursion to do before facing the Thorung La port. it takes quite a height to the cave, about 4100m and more if you approach the glacier (4300m). In addition there are good views of the entire valley: Manang, Bhraka, Pisang Peak and Chuli Peak, in addition to being able to closely appreciate one of the ice walls of one of the Annapurnas. You can also see blue sheep. You can also see the monastery of the Milarepa cave.

ITINERARY:
On the way we took the easy road with less slope, from the cave we took a slightly exposed road, but it is avoidable. On the way back from the glacier we took the easy road, but in the final descent we took the most direct but steepest road.

DIFFICULTIES:
The climb has a good slope, although the road is fine. Then the road from the cave to the glacier was not very good, but you can go through the bottom of the valley. The descent is a bit complicated because there is a lot of slope and sand.

SERVICES:
Bhraka is a typical Annapurna circuit town with hotels, restaurant, bakery. Half an hour is Manang with more services.
