Itinerary description
It's a long way around to get from the north end to the south end of Ellery Creek Big Hole, but the water was too cold to swim!
As I crossed the saddle on the Heavitree Range I met a group of day-walkers who were fascinated by the idea of off-track walking (and thanks for the fresh fruit!).
At the south end of Ellery Creek Big Hole I cleaned up, had a rest, and waited for my transport back to Alice Springs.
