Car parked in the parking lot of the Cave and Basin Historic site in Banff. Hence a 1.3 km walk to the bus stop of the ROAM public transit ($ 2, - pp.) At the Cascade of Time Garden (Cave Ave). Taken the bus to the cable car of the Sulfur Mountain. The Sulfur Mountain Trail starts there. The route goes up fairly steeply to the Sky Bistro, where the cable car also ends. From there a little more via wooden stairs to the viewpoint 'Sulfur Mountain Cosmic Ray Station'. Return to Banff via the trail on the other side of the Sulfur mountain to the Cave and Basin Historic site in Banff. A beautiful and easily accessible route. Good footwear is recommended.
