Itinerary description
Bowmans Gap makes a great day trip from Ormiston Gorge. Usually people go out and return via the north branch of Ormiston Creek, but it's also possible to come back over Ormiston Hill. Descending from Ormiston Hill towards the Ghost Gum Walk is steep and on loose rock, and I was prepared to pause in case anyone came past on the track below me.
There's usually water at Bowmans Gap, but I carried 2 litres with me anyway.
