Itinerary description

The trail took us from the outskirts of Jizzine (midway to Kfarhoune) to the roads of Bkaseen (Bkasin). the trail started with a small stretch of uphill pavement then into a rocky terrain littered with oak trees until we reached the Rommani area where the trail turned into a steep hill again reaching the Mallakha area where the trail leveled off and where the group settled to watch a breathtaking sunset at the cliff above the clouds. This sunset was different than all the others; I can't explain it but it was a different experience and soul soothing.
after the sun said its goodbyes, the trail took a downhill descent passing by some off the grid beautiful homes (old and new); the trail hit the pavement next to Jizzine Country Club and walk ed in the dark starry night (no moon) until the entrance of Jizzine (around 4 km) then the trail took to the pine forest for close to one km and pavement again where the trail came to a conclusion next to the Maison De Foret resort in Bkaseen.
The weather was a suffocating hot weather (unusual for past summers) where at the beginning of the hike the temperature felt like 37 degrees at 970 elevation. the temperature only cooled off at the peak where we watched the sunset then turned hot again as we descended to Bkaseen.
I am ranking this as easy. I didn't like the fact that half of the trail was on pavement (The decision to hit the pavement because half of the trekkers did not have night lights).
However, the scenery is gorgeous typical of the landscapes and towns of the south.
