Itinerary description

POINT:
Golden Canyon trailhead on the road going to the salt flata of badwater basin.
WHY TO DO IT:
It is a route that shows the different colors of the different mountains in the distance.
ITINERARY:
Round trip. Instead of Red Cathedral, I deviate, I guess by mistake, because on the map it seems that there is a path.
DIFFICULTIES:
Only at the end does the road become more complicated and especially slippery.
You also have to go well equipped with water, even if it is short, since it is quite hot and dry.
ALTERNATIVES:
You can link with Zabrieskie point, which you have very good views and then return on the other side to make it circulate, in that case take tons of water, especially in summer.
SERVICES:
In furnace creek, which is close, you have the visitor center, quite expensive gas station and some camping also saw.

Prachtige plek maar best voor 10u beginnen. Wij deden er twee uur over en liepen tussen de bergen tot praktisch aan Zabrinskie Point.
Breng zeker genoeg water mee, minstens 2 L per persoon.
Iets na de eerste splitsing loopt het even flink omhoog!
Ik verbeter even, naar de splitsing zijn we de gulch loop gevolgd, een kleine 5 mijl
