Itinerary description
By far the most thrilling and the most difficult hike I participated in; it is a 9/10 level in my book.
The hike started with a an 850 steep (almost vertical) ascent then we moved two more kilometers to get to the Sunnine cross. After the cross we took an inside dirt road that lead us across many mini canyons, sinkholes, and to a breathtaking view of the Bekaa Valley with Zahle and its suburbs clearly visible. The way back was a challenging as the way up; we had to slide for almost 500 meters in a steep rocky slope.
Level: 9/10.
Overall, it was a great day but is not recommended for everyone.
