Itinerary description

Another wonderful trail from the great country of Lebanon. We started from the hill where the first Lebanese flag was hosted in Falougha and then moved to the Kneyse mountain tip; from Kneyse you get a bird's eye 360 degrees view of the gorgeous quilted Bekaa Valley, the Bekaa towns, Falougha, Hammana, Aintoora, etc.
A great trail to hike

I have followed this trail  View more

Beautiful views! And just about the right quantity of snow left to keep the track interesting. Took me less than 5h and I didn't meet anyone up there. :)

Hi Malkie, thanks for your suggestion. Is the path marked somehow? Planning to do it in July as a short trail run... Thanks in advance for your tips :)

The path is not marked; I do recommend that you download the trail to your phone (use wikiloc, movescount, Garmin, or any GPS software you like) and follow it. GPS takes lots of battery, so make sure you have a power bank.

    thanks a lot

There are no trail markers, however except for a rocky part on the ridge (the views are fantastic!), there's a clear 4x4 path you cannot miss. I do however also recommend to download the trail to your device and use GPS.
