Itinerary description
Wonderful traverse ! Better with perfect weather in order to enjoy the view on the others summit. The section between Jakob and Laguna Negra is actually forbidden without guide. However, if you have a good mountain experience, just pop in to jakob and fill all the paperwork with the hut warden. After the pico refugio, you will cross a ridge. I followed the cairns and crossed it on the second pass. The first pass is better and faster. save a bit of water for this section. Otherwise, you will find a lot during your trip.
