Itinerary description
Very long and tiring hike to Tanzawa-san. This trail presents almost no technical difficulty but the distance and accumulated elevation change are consequent. Some clouds on Fuji compromised any chances of good shot, gotta go again in the area soon.
Up to Tanzawa-san on the North part of the trail, very few hikers... probably because map time is about 6 hours from the bus stop to the summit. The center part, especially around Tonodake is crowded, the last part much less but the forestry road is quite long but beautiful at this time of the year.
