Itinerary description

A nice woodland area, south of Welwyn, with several walking routes, some quite level and some with gradients. This area is popular with walkers and horse riders. The Red Lion is well positioned for some refreshments and it has an interesting menu. We got good service and value at a small family re-union there. This location would make a good break on a long car drive as it's just of the A1(M) especially if your dog needs a run.
