Itinerary description
1st day (4 hours)
We let the car on the road and then start hiking.
0-2h: really great (nice terrace fields, nice villages).
2h-3h: on a road (without any car).
3h-4h: to the first night campsite on a very nice path.
We first planned to go further but the path stops due to a wild forest.
2nd day: (2hours30)
Because of the forest, we didn't plan the second day.
0-45min: on the path to the road
45min-2h: on the road (without car) --> not that nice
2h-2h30: beautiful village and very nice path in a bamboo forest

Nice treck in the chinese landscape and old villages. we did it in July 2012, Hot weather, we enjoyed fresh water, in the river. At 900 m from starting point there is a old shelter.: a good place to sleep there Jean-Pascal

Hi. Is it possible to camp at the starting point on a Friday night, then start Saturday morning early?

I did it in 2012 , and as many things in China, all is changing very quick. May be you can find guest house in Feng Hua Shi, in 2012 there was no.

In 2012 we camp outside, asking to a farmer, he asked us to set up the camp when dark, and to pack every thing beat surnrise, I was quite ok.. You might always ask to camp.
