Itinerary description
Walk starts at a parking place close to the center of Poggio alla Malva (you need to turn left in the tiny street just after the church / sign). Easy walk all on country roads except a couple of hundred meters on a path at the end. I have therefore quoted the walk moderate.
During this walk, you will enjoy magic views on vineyards, olive groves and Florence's hills.
You will reach Artimino, a very nice and typical village, in less than one hour. The small archaeological museum is really worth visiting. It contains Etruscan antiques discovered in tombs you will find on your way back. We had lunch at "la Botteghina di Artimino", which we recommend (salami and cheese cuts, a couple of hot dishes, local wine…).
