Simple route that begins along a cliff to a viewpoint from which the Awaza peaks can be seen from afar. Between bushes we leave on our right a panoramic view of the valley to go down to a stream from which you can catch water (always drinking water). From the river in a few minutes you reach the spectacular waterfall Jinbar.
From the waterfall you continue through forest facing the valley until you reach the track. After a few meters we leave the track and resume the path, at this point it is common for a man to play a typical Ethiopian string instrument. After leaving the track you go through a sowing area, where it is common to see Geladas.
The course of the river continues until you reach some pools, where you can take advantage of to wash up and eat something.
From the pools there is an ascent to the camp. Starting at 3400 meters, the trees disappear and only a bush remains. Arriving at the camp begin to see the first lobelias and already, flattening, you get to Geech.
The camp is very authentic, on a hill, in front of some houses surrounded by lobelias and, best of all, many raptors. Eagles that stand in the trees and do not get scared even when approaching five meters.
At one kilometer from the camp you can reach the Kedadit peak of 3760 meters. Here the sunset is beautiful and worth it.
Very scenic simple route with lots of fauna.
