Itinerary description
A walk from Methoni, up to the old meteorological centre, up north, down to the main road, over a dirt track, east of the main road, we walk more north. Through the fields, olive groves and grapeyards we walk along the river to the 1000 year old little Byzantine church of Agios Vasilios. From there we walk easily back to methoni. we will have a drink at the new bar of Dourios Ippos. After the drink it's another 500 meters back to the car at the parking at the beach.
